Our class, typically made up of all boys, has been learning recently about God's priceless treasures. Our room has been redecorated to an underwater theme, and each week we look more into God's word and how it is such a precious treasure!
Our kids seem to be learning and understanding more and more each week! This week something happened that made me so happy and so encouraged that I could barely contain myself! Mrs. Elisabeth prays over the snack each week. Sometimes she will ask if any of the other boys want to pray, praying first herself and leaving blanks for the volunteer to answer. Occasionally, there is someone (usually Tito) who wants to pray, most times no answer. This week, two boys raised their hands, Tito and a visitor, Gabo. It was so sweet. We all bowed our heads and Tito prayed first and left blanks for Gabo to repeat what he said.
It is so great and so encouraging to see God move in the lives of the kids in our Sunday School class. I am so privileged to be able to spend time with them getting to know them more and teach them.
Also another praise from yesterday. Yeriko, a boy that Holly and I used to teach, accepted Jesus as his Savior yesterday. How incredible! So, I think my blog title is quite appropriate, God is Good!!!
